Family Friendly Sports Cars?

Today I am going to try to expand our topics of design. Design can be more than just living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. Design is everywhere, and today I am going to talk about...new car trends and design.

Lately it seems that all of the sports cars are coming out with a "family friendly" version with four doors and more cargo room. What do you think? Does a car seat have a place in a Ferrari? Here are several examples and you can decide for yourself.

The 2012 Ferrari FF. A sports car with a hatchback.
This baby goes 0-62 in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 208 mph.

A sports car with four seats, more cabin space, and back seats that fold down for more cargo room. So I see that it is more functional, but is that really needed when you buy a fancy sports car?

This is the Porsche Panamera. The Panamera Turbo goes 0-60 in 4 seconds.

I'm not crazy about the lines of this car, it's like they couldn't decide what they wanted.

I don't think that this car really hits the sports car mark.

The Lamborghini Estoque.

One review says, "The Lamborghini Estoque is the first sedan in the history of Automobili Lamborghini, although "sedan" is more a reference to the number of doors than any other characteristics. Even sports sedan is an inadequate classification: the Lamborghini Estoque establishes a new category of super sports sedans."

So what do you think, is there a place for super sports cars/sedan/hatchback?
